A small number of medical groups are responsible for a majority of the best-in-class strategies, programs and processes. Those types of groups tend to gravitate towards the Medical Group Leadership Forum and similar forums around the country.
On behalf of Bob Anderson, CEO, Cardiovascular Provider Resources (Heart Place) and Honorary Chairperson of the Medical Group Leadership Forum, you are invited to participate as a guest of this exclusive group made-up of business leaders of IPAs, medical groups and physician-owned hospitals. If you decide to become a member, you would be a welcome addition.
The Forum is a group of like-minded peers from groups located in Texas that meet three times per year. Each Forum varies in length and is focused around a topic and format that the group chooses.
Objectives of the Medical Group Leadership Forum
Get Smart
The Forum empowers you with just-in-time knowledge from your peers, enabling you to broaden & widen your vision and get ahead on your challenges. In addition, subject matter experts will be invited to fill gaps on topics you request.
Get Relationships
The Forum delivers an opportunity for you to network more effectively with fellow medical group leaders that you have an affinity with (e.g. your group is one of the largest in its specialty in North Texas) and enables you to enhance your leadership position in the medical group community.
Get Results
How Do You Measure the Return on Investment of Your Forum Membership?
Increased Effectiveness – You are able to validate your thoughts on an idea you want to implement in your group and you are able to access best-in-class program information from a Forum peer instead of reinventing the wheel. What is that worth?
Increased Risk Avoidance – You learn about specific contract language and avoid spending ten hours unwinding a problem caused by the language later down the road. How does that impact you?
Increased Intimacy of Your Relationships Around the State – On a scale of 1-10 how strong was your relationship with peers (knowledge of their group, how they think, personal life, etc…) before the Forum and on a scale of 1-10 how strong is it now? The Forum delivers the structure to build your key relationships in the medical group community. Relationships carry the day.
What Exactly Do You Receive as a Member? (Annual membership investment is $2500)
· Access to three Forums per year, with a like-minded group of peers that are delivered by a professional facilitator and executive coach (Leadership Forum venue, content, materials and meals included).
· Access to a “souped-up” communication channel (CEO TV) that you can use to leverage the best medical group minds in the state in a laser, practical manner to get smart, get relationships and get results.
· A $2,000 credit toward consulting, coaching or speaking services delivered by Darren Smith during the twelve months following the date of the member’s dues invoice.
Invited executives are guests of the Forum on their first visit in order participate before becoming a member of the Medical Group Leadership Forum.
