Architect / Engineer / Contractor Leadership Lab in Texas (Healthcare and Industrial Leadership Labs coming in the future)  

The Challenge

The Solution 

The AEC Leadership Lab is for the future leaders of the AEC firms in the Texas region. The Lab delivers an opportunity to gain a fundamental understanding and commitment to working collaboratively for the mutual benefit of all. The result is increasing the chance of creating a breakthrough for the AEC industry on how to begin collaborating even closer, leadership development and an increase in profitability across disciplines.

A Five Part Experience

Part 1 Self Awareness

The CEO Roundtable kicks off the lab with a discussion led by leaders of the regional AEC community. They will explore integrated process model, its challenges and opportunities. Then renowned futurist, Jim Cramer speaks on the issues facing the industry. This first day concludes with a team building exercise that will jump start our thinking before the retreat component of the Leadership Lab.

Part 2 Team Building

The focus of these 2 days is to learn about the processes and dynamics of our allied businesses and work on real world issues through discussion and problem solving.  The goal: answers to the questions every leader should know about their firm and the other disciplines: What are we really selling? How do we close business? How do we really make money?

Part 3 Group Coaching

Following the retreat, participants will engage in group coaching twice per month for six months via telephone. This will aid in bringing back the insights gained from the retreat and relate the to day-to-day business operations.

Part 4 The Webinar 

At the six month mark, Lab participants will prepare and deliver their results in a webinar to the CEO’s from the Round Table.

Part 5 Leadership Skills Workshops

We expect to uncover training needs through the Lab and targeted training seminars will be developed to address those needs. Participation is optional.
