After working with leaders for years, here’s what I know: few leaders are balanced.

Why? In my experience, balance is hard to achieve because it’s unappealing to them. What’s appealing is a ‘beautiful life’…

Picture this: a beautiful life is like a racing chariot barreling through time, reeling, but erect (G.K. Chesterton).

Leading a beautiful life is an often forgotten phrase. It’s doing great things in all pillars of your life. If you’re only focused on doing great things in your business pillar, there’s no time to be a great spouse, parent, friend or spirit-filled person.

For most leaders, ‘balance’ is a goal, when, instead, a ‘beautiful life’ should be. Be realistic….
